6200 SERIES SKF BEARINGS

6200 series SKF bearings ARE pop metric ball bearings with a single row of steel balls contained within a steel cage. You can choose between rubber or metal seals for these bearings. The rubber sealed bearings, also known as 2RS or RS, feature two contact rubber seals on either side of the bearing. In contrast, the metal shielded bearings, also known as 2ZZ, ZZ, or Z, come equipped with two non-contact metal shields on either side of the bearing. Additionally, while the rubber sealed bearings provide enhanced protection against dirt and debris, the metal shielded bearings offer increased resistance to wear and tear.
